Community Education Resources Foundation (CERFO) is a registered non-profit organization established to fight against poverty and diseases surrounding the Tanzania communities through education (both formal & informal) and capacity building.
CERFO also works to improve and raise the social-economic standards of the community by promoting their projects, empowering women, supporting vulnerable members of the community, and providing FREE LIBRARY services for the community. CERFO works hand in hand with the community to ensure that community economic prosperity is attained.
CERFO is a youth-driven, non –political, independent, non-profit organization run by the YOUTH and recent graduates of higher education institution. With a membership of over 3000 members in over 9 primary schools and 4 secondary schools as well universities, our international platform enables young people to discover and develop their potential to provide leadership for a positive impact on their society. CERFO in Tanzania is part of the global CERFO network, which covers over 12 countries and territories.
CERFO provides its members with an integrated development experience comprised of leadership opportunities, international internships, and participation in a global learning environment.
